Photo of Peter Paul Storni. Born in Switzerland March 25, 1861. Came to US in 1876, becoming city Marshal in 1890. He was elected constable in 1898, serving in this capacity and as deputy sheriff for many years. Because of his ability to speak Chinese, he was able to work well with these people and was known as the King of Chinatown. He died in 1932. He was the father of Emma Storni Davies and Lucille Storni Myrick.
