Transfer of Santa Barbara Mission Archives. This set of abstracts of title were initially rejected by the Santa Barbara Historical Society, likely in the 1950s when it had no storage space. Fr. Virgilio accepted them as he had room in the Santa Barbara Mission basement. This information was documented by Elizabeth E. Hvolboll in an April 1990 letter to Michael Redmon.
