Content Description

One hundred eighty-two (182) volumes primarily on California history. There is an emphasis on the history of the San Gabriel Valley and the City of Los Angeles. Other regions covered are the City of San Francisco and California Deserts. These books were collected by the donor's father, A. S. Halsted, of Pasadena. A donor letter providing provenance is included.
