Franceschi House Rehabilitation
Content Description
In 2001, a public-private partnership between the city of Santa Barbara and the Pearl Chase Society was formed to restore the Franceschi House for public use. The collected documents include news articles following the proposal, copies of the proposal and plans, and a series of letters that reveal that many homeowners in the area did not want the proposal to go through but instead wanted the house torn down.
