Content Description
The materials consist of papers that cover the lives and work of Don Calamar, a photographer, and his wife Patricia Chamberlin-Calamar, a teacher and artist. Also included is a publication titled "Made in Santa Barbara" created by the Santa Barbara Art Museum with a Calamar photo included. Other materials include four (4) articles covering La Huerta at the Santa Barbara Mission, artist Gloria Calamar, Lotusland, and Beatrix Farrand's work at the Casa Dorinda estate. Two (2) of The Legacy newsletters from the Lompoc Valley Historical Society covering Edwin Denys Rowe's landscape architecture contributions and a collection of photos from the Santa Barbara Presidio reconstruction, Chumash Point Garden, and of the Calamars.
