Gift of Shannon Foredyce. The slides were taken by L. Marie Phillis in the '50's, '60's and '70's when she lived in Santa Barbara. Phillis sent many slides to Shannon Foredyce's (donor) great aunt, Vesta Flexman, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. When Vesta died, the slides were sent to Foredyce's grandfather, Vesta's brother, Earl Carefoot, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. When Foredyce's grandfather died, the slides were sent to her mother, Earl's daugther, Marilynn Snyder, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Foredyce inherited the collection from her mother.
