Biographical / Historical

Preservation Planning Associates (PPA) was formed in Santa Barbara, California, in 1985. The principal of PPA, Alexandra C. Cole, received her Master's of Library Science from Columbia University and her Master's of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Vermont. Alex assisted property owners and developers meet government-mandated environmental and historical project requirements for forty years prior to her retirement in 2025.
