Sixty (60) pieces of original line art for feature newspaper articles and for the comic strip titled, Heavenly Days, by artist James K. Johnson. One hundred seventy-five (175) reproduction pieces of the aforementioned line art. Also included are related clippings, correspondence, and a promotions calendar. This collection contains examples demonstrating the production steps used in the conversion of original line art into a finished product during the midcentury period of the Santa Barbara News-Press.
