Gift of Edith Ogella. This print was exhibited in salons around the world from 1925 to 1929. In the early 1960s the donor purchased the print at the Santa Barbara Salvation Army, a thrift store, for ten cents. She had it framed and hung it in her home for 60 years. The donor first contacted the Gledhill Library in 2022 to explore the Museum's interest and to find out how to get it appraised. The donor gifted the print to the Museum as her personal response to the Museum's Great Photographers exhibition [2019] and her desire the photograph remain in Santa Barbara.
