Content Description

Six (6) Honda Point Naval disaster photographs. The photographer is Everett "Ed" Herbert Brooks. He was between enlistments at the time of the Honda Point shipwreck event. He had been, discharged from the Army, but not yet joined the Navy. He was not involved in the rescue or recovery efforts. The family recalls Brooks heard about the wreck, and being an avid photographer, grabbed his camera and traveled to the wreck to document it.
