Twenty-six (26) family photographs, one (1) drawing of Capt. John Moore, two (2) paintings, one of Capt. John Moore and one of the Santa Barbara Mission, one (1) photographic portrait of Mrs. Charles Pierce, and one (1) historic mirror made in Paris, brought to New York and shipped around the Horn to Santa Barbara in the 1860s. Background: Capt. John Moore commanded the British naval ship "Surprise" where Francis Scott Key was held prisoner and wrote the "The Star Spangled Banner" during the bombardment of Fort McHenry.
