Album of thirty-one (31) large format, professionally made photographs of the old Eaton Hunting Lodge at the west edge of Cold Springs Canyon at Mountain Drive. Address: 800 Cold Spring Road. Property was purchased by E. Crawford May in 1946 and sold to McClains in 1949. The residence was built around the original hunting lodge. One (1) photograph of Crawford May, father of donor, taken about 1938, at house at Smoke Tree Ranch, Palm Springs. Collection of five (5) snapshots, most of boating trips to the Channel Islands and of the Islands. One (1) negative of San Miguel Island circa 1910. Thirty-one (31) 4" x 5" copy negatives, not part of the original donation, were made of the bound and loose Lodge photographs, sleeved, and laid into the photo album.
