Biography
Fred Chamberlain's great grandfather was Robert Linton Chamberlain, mayor of Santa Barbara from 1878-1880. His second wife was Jeannie Hollister, who raised Fred's great aunt, Ellen Perkins Chamberlain, as well as her brothers Joe, Selah (Fred's grandfather), and Robert. Jeannie Hollister Chamberlain was the only daughter of Col. W. W. Hollister. Her house was at 325 East Pedregosa Street.
