Biography

Born in San Francisco, California, and came to Santa Barbara as a baby. Her mother was Lydia Jane Cook and her father was Edmund Harrison, a descendent of Benjamin Harrison. Both parents were from Ohio. Gail received a scholarship to, and her degree from Columbia University. She was a life-long educator. Cremated and burried at Santa Barbara Cemetery.
