In 1925, Marian published her own book of images called "Farmhouses and Small Provincial Buildings in Southern Italy," which included introductions by Katharine Putnam Hooker and architect Myron Hunt. Hunt credited "Farmhouses" for inspiring some of his Mediterranean-style architecture.
