From the Collection:

The Santa Barbara Legacy Reel Audio Tape Collection contain recordings of oral histories, radio programs, meetings, lectures, telephone conversations, ceremonies, and music perfomances of local old timers and influential people. These 184 electronic files, extracted from 98 one quarter-inch reel-to-reel magnetic tapes, represent the earliest audio recordings made by the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.

Edwin and Andriette Gledhill, 2620 Glendessary Lane, Santa Barbara, on Thursday, 31 July 1969. Charles T. Pierce interview begins at 00:02:34. Veering off topic from 00:29:46 to 00:38:30, Gledhill describes his frustrations with the County not designating Glendessary as a Landmark [it did in 1980], and with Pearl Chase over differences on how to finance the reconstruction of the Santa Barbara Presidio.
