Biography

Payne K Green was born in 1932 in Santa Barbara, California, where he and eight siblings were raised by hard-working parents. Rretired from a career as a police officer, Payne served as philanthropist, mentor, and storyteller. His autobiography, All That And Everything Else: The Life Of The Real Santa Barbara Man, illustrates life in Santa Barbara before freeways and sidewalks, his school years as a top athlete, meeting the love of his life, and patrolling the beat. A true survivor with the tenacity to rebuild his home after twice losing it to wildfires.
