Biography

Paule McPherson lived on Mountain Drive for 54 years. She held her 2-month-old daughter, Caity, in her arms when she and Duke bought their home at 201 East Mountain Drive. Their home survived the Sycamore Canyon Fire, but they felt the trauma of losing their home to the flames of the Tea Fire. They rebuilt and enjoyed over a decade in their new home. Duke still lives there, but Paule died May 31, 2023, at the age of 88. Though she didn’t get out to all the neighborhood social events, many knew her.
