Biography
Milo Potter sold the hotel in 1919 and it became the Belvedere. The following year, it became part of the Ambassador chain and was rechristened the Ambassador.

Six scrapbooks contain all thirty years of the weekly local history columns written by Mrs. Rouse for the Santa Barbara News-Press newspaper.
